Job Title: Sr Financial Data Analyst
Location: Orlando, FL (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Available Immediately - Contract-to-Hire (3 month term with conversion to full-time employee)
Compensation: $90,000 – $100,000
Overview:
We are partnering with a publicly traded company seeking a Sr Financial Data Analyst to support financial reporting, forecasting, and data-driven decision making. This role offers strong visibility across finance and operations, with a clear path to full-time employment following the initial contract period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial results, trends, and variances to support business decision making
- Support forecasting across P&L and cash flow components
- Work with large datasets to validate accuracy and ensure consistency across reporting
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting and efficiency
- Partner cross-functionally with finance, accounting, and operations teams
- Prepare and deliver insights to support management and leadership
Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience in finance, FP&A, or data analytics
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with large datasets
- Experience with financial modeling and variance analysis
- Exposure to BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Cognos) preferred
- SQL experience (read/query) is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to operate both at a high level and in detailed analysis
