- Build and maintain accurate aircraft and shop records
- Schedule work, manage workflow, and keep aircraft moving without sacrificing quality
- Supervise, train, and develop technicians
- Coordinate parts, tooling, vendors, and OEM support
- Work directly with owners, pilots, and internal teams on status, findings, and next steps
- Represent the shop during FAA visits, audits, and certificate-related activity
- Help stand up systems, processes, and standards as the Utah location grows
- Champion safety on the floor every day
Requirements
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate — required
- Inspection Authorization (IA) — required
- Strong working knowledge of FARs, especially Parts 43, 65, 91, and 145

- Composite experience a plus
- Comfortable being both the technical lead and the person running the shop
- Clear communicator with owners, technicians, and the FAA
- Organized, accountable, and unwilling to sign off work that isn’t right
If you’re an IA who knows how to run a hangar, keep a certificate clean, and take care of owners, we want to talk!
