As a Restaurant Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure that customers have an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front of house, back of house, and bar.
- Lead, train, and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service and adhere to company standards.
- Ensure that all food and beverage items meet quality standards and are prepared and served on time.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations, including food safety, sanitation, and alcohol policies, are followed.
- Develop and implement staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for shifts.
- Manage labor costs and optimize staff efficiency.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate company policies, expectations, and updates.
- Handle cash management, including balancing registers, handling deposits, and managing daily sales reports.
- Ensure the restaurant environment is clean, safe, and welcoming at all times.
- Track and analyze restaurant performance, including sales, customer feedback, and operational efficiency, and make improvements as needed.
- Work closely with the General Manager to achieve financial goals, increase profitability, and ensure consistent service quality.
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in restaurant management or a supervisory role in the foodservice industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory control, labor management, and customer service standards.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional management or hospitality training is a plus.
