Role Description The Bid Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Punta Gorda, FL. This role is responsible for coordinating the end-to-end bid process, including reviewing bid invitations, tracking opportunities, and organizing required documentation. The Bid Coordinator will work closely with project managers, estimators, and other internal stakeholders to gather information, prepare pricing inputs, and ensure timely submission of complete bid packages. Day-to-day tasks include drafting and formatting bid and proposal documents, maintaining bid calendars, monitoring deadlines, and ensuring compliance with client requirements. The position also involves liaising with clients and subcontractors for clarifications, updating internal databases with bid outcomes, and contributing to process improvements that enhance bid quality and win rates.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in core bid coordination skills, including Bid Preparation and Bid Processes.
- Demonstrated ability in Bid Writing and Proposal Writing, with strong attention to detail and clarity.
- Experience supporting Tender Submissions, including assembling documentation and managing deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interpret specifications and client requirements.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets, document templates, and project management or CRM tools.
- Prior experience in construction, site development, or a related industry is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, or a related field is a plus.
