Job Overview:

Duties and Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot work-related problems using problem-solving techniques.
• Use computer technology to locate information and print labels.
• Evaluate packaging for shipment to customers.
• Inspect parts and cartons throughout the packing process.
• Stack cartons on pallets by hand, band, and ticket skids.
• Notify supervisors of needed repairs to packaging machinery.
• Record information such as quantity, date, and initials.

• Understand how one's job contributes to the company's success.
• Work in teams and independently to color sort and visually inspect products.
• Collaborate with teams to solve problems, complete tasks, and meet shipping schedules.
• Perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Complete related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Possess basic reading and writing skills.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions.

Working Conditions

• Manufacturing / Packaging environment.
• Moving Mechanical Parts - safely maneuver near moving parts.

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand for 12 hours (7pm-7am or 7am-7pm, with breaks).
• Able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required.
• Able to perform eye-hand coordination to assemble and trim parts safely.
• Vision required: close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
• Lifting - proper and safe technique to maneuver and lift up to 25 pounds.
