As a Service Porter for Subaru South Tampa, you are the primary coordinator of the service drive’s first and last impression. You will support our mission of providing a premium, stress-free experience for our Subaru owners.

Qualifications:Key Responsibilities
The “Luxury” Standard
Treat every Subaru—from an Outback to a high-performance WRX—with the same care and precision expected across the Myers luxury portfolio.
Service Drive Logistics
Efficiently move vehicles from the service lane to designated technician bays and back to the delivery lot.
Quality Assurance
Remove all protective plastics and floor mats, ensure the cabin is clean, and perform a final walk-around to guarantee no fingerprints or debris remain before the customer arrives.
Inventory Stewardship
Tag and organize keys, maintain the cleanliness of the service lot, and ensure all vehicles are parked in a neat, uniform fashion.
Subaru Brand Ambassadorship
Greet guests with the “Subaru Love Promise” attitude—friendly, authentic, and helpful.
Facility Support
Assist the service team with shop cleanliness, basic lot maintenance, and occasional shuttle runs for customers in the South Tampa area.
Job Requirements
Clean Driving Record
A valid Florida Driver’s License and a verifiable clean driving history (3 years preferred) to meet Myers Auto Group insurance standards.
Manual Transmission Skills
Proficiency in driving a manual transmission (stick shift) is highly preferred due to the high volume of manual-transmission Subaru models (WRX, STI, BRZ).
Physical Endurance
Ability to work on your feet for the duration of your shift and perform in the South Tampa heat and humidity.
Communication Skills
Strong interpersonal skills; you must be comfortable speaking with customers and coordinating with busy Service Advisors.
Attention to Detail
Ability to spot small imperfections, low tire pressure, or battery issues that need to be addressed before a vehicle is returned to a guest.
