Landscaping Porter

Position Summary

The Landscaping Porter is responsible for maintaining exterior areas, landscaped grounds, and green spaces in a clean, safe, and attractive condition. This position performs landscape maintenance, lawn care, irrigation support, and general groundskeeping while meeting Kings Service Solutions quality and safety standards.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

· Maintain landscaped areas, gardens, sidewalks, parking lots, and assigned exterior spaces.

· Collect trash, leaves, branches, weeds, and other debris.

· Mow lawns, edge sidewalks, trim shrubs, prune trees, and maintain flower beds.

· Water plants, trees, shrubs, and lawns according to schedule.

· Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and seasonal vegetation.

· Apply mulch, soil, fertilizer, and other landscaping materials as directed.

· Safely operate lawn mowers, edgers, string trimmers, hedge trimmers, and leaf blowers.

· Inspect, clean, and perform basic maintenance on landscaping equipment.

· Report damaged irrigation systems, unsafe conditions, or equipment issues.

· Support landscape enhancement and beautification projects.

· Follow all company, client, OSHA, and PPE requirements.

· Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

· High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

· Previous landscaping, groundskeeping, or general maintenance experience preferred.

· Valid driver's license required.

· Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Required Skills And Qualifications

· Knowledge of landscaping and lawn maintenance.

· Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment.

· Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

· Strong attention to detail and time management.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Professional attitude and customer service orientation.

Physical Requirements

· Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

· Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and humidity.
