Salary: $55,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
Qualifications
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES):
- Always display a professional demeanor
- Ability to successfully negotiate with customers.
- Keep current on all dealership product(s) knowledge as well as our competitors’.
- Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships (before and after sales.)
- Data mine large databases to generate new sales leads and opportunities.
- Log and maintain customer data.
- Take customers on test drives.
- Maintain (at a minimum) or exceed established sales goals and 100% on surveys.
- Ability to set appointments and close deals.
- Maintain valid driver’s license at all times.
- Follow all established company and department policies and procedures.
- Acceptable attendance is mandatory.
- Must be able to work all required hours, including extended hours for events, when necessary.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Manager or Department Head.
- Must be able to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Must be able to deliver vehicles to customers (some traveling)
- Assist customers in moving items from one vehicle to another (may involve bending, lifting, stooping, reaching)
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Able to move around lot to show inventory to customers
- Exposure to outside weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum of intermediate level of knowledge/experience with computer and Microsoft applications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Marketing, networking, negotiation, and sales skills
- Basic mathematical and finance skills
- Function well within a teamwork environment and with all other departments / staff
- Ability to learn and retain brand and product knowledge
