Job Description



Essential Functions And Primary Duties

  • Collaborate with clients to create automated ETL/SSIS/Alteryx processes to download, prep, import, and validate healthcare claims data.
  • Develops, designs, and optimizes complex SQL queries.
  • Participate as a key member on the data development team in client, business, or internal meetings.
  • Document and analyze system requirements in order to create a successful and flexible data process.
  • Create, maintain, and optimize stored procedures, functions, ETL/SSIS processes, and database structures to adapt to changes in needs and requirements.
  • Be able to give and receive feedback on requirements or code reviews.
  • Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules.
  • Takes input from supervisor and appropriately and accurately applies comments/feedback.
  • Consistently delivers high-quality services.
  • Understands the components of running a fiscally successful project.
  • Participate in SQL modernization projects. Fully revamp existing processes into more modern platforms with newer technology.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year of related work experience, 3 years preferred
  • Experience in SQL/SSIS technology
  • Experience with source control software and issue trackers preferred
  • Atlassian tool suite experience is a plus
  • Experience with Alteryx for data preparation and automation a plus
  • Knowledge of Power BI for data visualization and dashboard creation a plus but not required
  • Experience in gathering requirements
  • Must be able to work independently on projects and within a remote team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and assertive
  • Experience with SSRS is a plus
  • Experience with Powershell is a plus
  • Ability to travel based on business needs



Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience required
