What We Offer
Essential Functions And Primary Duties
- Collaborate with clients to create automated ETL/SSIS/Alteryx processes to download, prep, import, and validate healthcare claims data.
- Develops, designs, and optimizes complex SQL queries.
- Participate as a key member on the data development team in client, business, or internal meetings.
- Document and analyze system requirements in order to create a successful and flexible data process.
- Create, maintain, and optimize stored procedures, functions, ETL/SSIS processes, and database structures to adapt to changes in needs and requirements.
- Be able to give and receive feedback on requirements or code reviews.
- Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules.
- Takes input from supervisor and appropriately and accurately applies comments/feedback.
- Consistently delivers high-quality services.
- Understands the components of running a fiscally successful project.
- Participate in SQL modernization projects. Fully revamp existing processes into more modern platforms with newer technology.
- 1 year of related work experience, 3 years preferred
- Experience in SQL/SSIS technology
- Experience with source control software and issue trackers preferred
- Atlassian tool suite experience is a plus
- Experience with Alteryx for data preparation and automation a plus
- Knowledge of Power BI for data visualization and dashboard creation a plus but not required
- Experience in gathering requirements
- Must be able to work independently on projects and within a remote team environment
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and assertive
- Experience with SSRS is a plus
- Experience with Powershell is a plus
- Ability to travel based on business needs
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience required
