🏡 A Day in the Life of a Property Manager
As a Property Manager, you will take ownership of the property's performance, working to maximize occupancy, net revenue, and property value. You'll oversee a team that includes assistant managers, leasing agents, maintenance supervisors, technicians, groundskeepers, and housekeepers.
Your responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing competitive marketing and leasing strategies
- Leading a proactive resident retention plan with strong customer service
- Managing budgets, financial records, deposits, and safeguarding property funds
- Ensuring lease documents, reports, and procedures are completed accurately and on time
- Collaborating with your Regional Manager on supplies, staffing, and risk management
- Hiring, training, and developing team members
- Overseeing maintenance projects and ensuring safety standards are met
- Maintaining the property's curb appeal and overall condition
✅ Property Manager Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of multifamily residential property management/supervisory experience
- Service industry experience
- Experience with One-Site software
- Ability to work scheduled hours, be on-call, and work overtime or weekends as needed
- Valid driver's license
