Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Cypress, CA, for a Tax Preparer. The responsibilities include preparing and filing tax returns for individuals and businesses, analyzing financial statements, and applying current tax laws to ensure compliance. The Tax Preparer will communicate with clients regularly to gather information, provide guidance, and address any questions related to tax filings.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Tax Preparation and Tax Filing processes
- Strong knowledge of Tax Laws and regulations
- Ability to analyze and interpret Financial Statements and financial data
- Understanding of Finance principles related to tax preparation
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple client accounts
- Strong communication skills for client interaction and guidance
- Relevant licenses and certifications such as CTEC (preferred)
- Proficiency in tax software and related tools
- 2 Years of previous experience preferred (HR Block, Liberty Tax, Jackson Hewitt, etc.)
