What We Mean by “MTC Material”:
We are looking for people who fit the personality and culture of My Treehouse Club. This means someone who:
• Naturally brings warmth, enthusiasm, and positive energy
• Enjoys performing, teaching, or engaging with children, not just supervising them
• Can think on their feet and jump in where needed
• Takes pride in creating memorable experiences for families
• Is kind, professional, hardworking, and a strong teammate
• Understands that working with children means being fully present, engaged, and willing to have fun
At MTC, families come for the experience. Energy, initiative, and genuine care matter just as much as certifications.
Preferred Experience (not required but a plus):
• Camp experience
• Teaching or childcare background
• Coaching, sports instruction, or recreation programs
• Experience leading group activities for children
This position is ideal for someone who wants more than a standard lifeguarding role and enjoys being part of a team creating meaningful summer experiences for kids.
Strong candidates may be considered for future opportunities with My Treehouse Club at our Kakaako location, including classes, camps, events, birthday parties, and enrichment programs beyond the summer season.
Interested applicants, please submit following:
• Your availability (full day or partial day)
• Resume (preferred)
• Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications
• A brief introduction about yourself
• Optional but encouraged: A 30-second introduction video telling us about yourself, your experience with children, and why you think you’d be a great fit. We love getting a feel for personality and energy!
We look forward to hearing from you and finding someone excited to make summer fun, safe, and memorable for our campers!
