We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Structural Engineer to join a leading Structural Engineering Firm in Memphis, TN.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct structural analyses and inspections of residential, commercial, industrial, and historical buildings.
- Prepare detailed construction documents, including calculations, drawings, and specifications using relevant design software (experience with REVIT is highly desired)
- Work collaboratively with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project success.
- Provide clear and concise recommendations for repairs and renovations.
- Participate in site visits and construction reviews to verify code compliance and quality of construction (hands-on experience with wood construction is a plus).
- Stay up-to-date with the latest building codes and industry standards.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Tennessee or actively pursuing licensure.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in structural engineering.
- Proven experience with structural analysis software (REVIT experience strongly preferred)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
