Job Summary:
A Fulfillment Packer fulfills orders, verifies, and keeps records of all outgoing orders, deliveries and shipments and prepares items for such.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Receives and reads customer orders to identify item(s) to be pulled/picked from inventory.
- Verifies stock availability.
- Conveys, or prepares orders for wrapping, packing, and shipping and determines method of shipping, amount of postage, and anything else shipping related.
- Prepares and maintains records.
- Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Stamps, stencils, or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto packaging.
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to Supervisor.
- Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
- Informs Supervisor when inventory and supplies are low.
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition following prescribed safety regulations.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Enjoy working in a team setting and helping other departments when needed.
- Ability to perform but not limited to the following tasks, be familiar with and able to operate the computer system to fulfill orders, and enter information into the computer.
- Capable of estimating weight and using that information to calculate the cost of shipping.
- Familiar with proper packaging methods and able to interpret visual aids used to convey specific packaging requirements.
- Proficiency with general navigation of computers preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Self-starter with a positive attitude who can work with many different teams and people.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
