My Little Guest is a Christian, faith based premium on site childcare service created specifically for weddings and special events.

Our faith is at the heart of how we serve families. We believe every child should be treated with love, patience, kindness, dignity, and care. We strive to reflect the love of Christ through the way we serve children, parents, couples, vendors, and one another.

We help parents enjoy the celebration while knowing their children are nearby, safe, entertained, and genuinely cared for.

We're looking for energetic, trustworthy, responsible, and compassionate people to join our team as Wedding Childcare Hosts.

This isn't your typical babysitting job.

You'll work at beautiful wedding venues and special events, helping create a safe, joyful, and welcoming experience for some of the event's littlest guests.

What You'll Do

As a Wedding Childcare Host, you may:

• Welcome children and parents into our childcare space
• Assist with our secure check-in and check-out process
• Supervise children throughout weddings and special events
• Lead games, crafts, coloring, movies, and other activities
• Help children with meals and snacks
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment
• Comfort children who may be tired, nervous, or missing their parents
• Assist with age-appropriate care for younger children
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with parents
• Work alongside other Hosts and your Event Lead
• Help set up and break down our children's lounge
• Seamlessly blend into the wedding environment while remaining attentive to the children in our care
• Represent our company and its Christian values with kindness, integrity, patience, and professionalism

Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Pass a background check
• Have reliable transportation
• Have reliable communication
• Be willing to complete CPR/First Aid certification if not already certified
• Follow all company safety procedures
• Maintain professional appearance and behavior
• Treat every child and family with kindness and respect
• Represent the company with integrity and professionalism
• Be available for select Friday, Saturday, and Sunday events

Previous childcare experience is strongly preferred.

The Schedule

This is an event-based position, making it great for college students, teachers, healthcare students, children's ministry volunteers, experienced babysitters, and anyone looking for flexible weekend income.

Weddings are scheduled in advance, and team members will receive opportunities to work based on availability.

Typical shifts may include:

Friday evenings
Saturday afternoons/evenings
Sunday afternoons/evenings
Occasional weekday events

Most events will last approximately 4–8 hours.

Pay

Wedding Childcare Host: Starting at $18/hour

Experienced team members may earn $20–$27.50/hour depending on experience, certifications, responsibilities, and performance.

Opportunities for advancement may include:

Senior Host
Lead Host
Event Lead

Lead team members may earn higher hourly rates.
