Position: On Site Tech Engineer
Location: Monroe, NY
Department: Service Delivery
We’re growing and looking for a On Site Tech Engineer who’s not only technically sound, but also thrives in building relationships, solving problems, and being the trusted face of My IT Crew onsite.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the primary technical resource, stationed directly at the client’s location.
- Provide day-to-day IT support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for hardware, software, and network systems.
- Collaborate with the client’s staff to understand and address their technical needs in real time.
- Perform installations, upgrades, and maintenance of IT systems as required.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the internal support team when needed.
- Ensure client satisfaction by delivering timely, professional, and efficient support.
- Document support activities, solutions, and client feedback.
- Act as a liaison between the client and the company, ensuring smooth communication and service delivery.
What You Bring:
- 3 years of Windows-based IT support experience
- One or more of the following certifications:
- - CompTIA Security
- - CompTIA Network
- - Microsoft Modern Desktop
- - Microsoft 365 Administrator
- Proven experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar technical role.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients onsite.
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, documentation practices, and IT service management tools.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Flexibility to adapt to client needs and handle both routine and urgent issues.
