Overview:
MyFlight Tours is seeking a dedicated Helicopter Flight Line Crew member to ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable experience for our passengers. This role is vital in assisting with passenger coordination, helicopter ground operations, and safety procedures. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet passengers with a warm and professional demeanor, providing pre-flight briefings.
- Assist passengers safely in and out of the helicopter, ensuring orderly movement to and from the aircraft.
- Fuel helicopters and perform basic ground support tasks as required.
- Verify passenger bookings to ensure they are on the correct tour and flight package.
- Communicate with pilots and other ground staff to maintain smooth flight operations and on-time departures.
- Clearly explain safety procedures and flight rules to all passengers before boarding.
- Prepare the location for daily operations, including setting up signage, ensuring cleanliness, and opening the ticket booth.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Excellent people skills with the ability to provide clear and confident communication.
- Strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working around helicopters and ensuring safety procedures are followed.
- Ability to take initiative and problem-solve in real-time situations.
- Prior experience in aviation, tourism, or customer service is a plus but not required.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry light equipment as needed.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as required by flight schedules.
