My Fit Foods is looking for an experienced, Houston-based recruiter who knows how to identify exceptional talent, engage high-performing professionals, and build relationships that lead to great hires.

This isn't a role built around posting jobs and waiting for applications. We need someone who understands the Houston market, knows where to find strong talent, and can turn a targeted search into qualified candidates.

You'll work directly with our Head of Recruiting to support hiring across leadership, operations, and specialized positions throughout Houston.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Partner directly with the Head of Recruiting to understand Houston hiring needs and define ideal candidate profiles.
• Develop targeted sourcing strategies to identify qualified talent for leadership, operational, and specialized positions.
• Proactively approach passive candidates through LinkedIn, direct calls, referrals, networking, and in-person outreach.
• Build relationships throughout the Houston business community to uncover high-performing professionals.
• Conduct initial screening conversations to evaluate experience, leadership ability, motivation, and cultural alignment.
• Present qualified, interested candidates to the Head of Recruiting for consideration.
• Maintain an active network of prospective candidates for current and future hiring needs.
• Track sourcing activity, candidate progress, and market feedback while maintaining consistent communication with the Head of Recruiting.

Your responsibility is to identify, engage, and deliver qualified talent—not simply generate applications.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You're an experienced recruiter or headhunter who has demonstrated success finding and engaging talent that traditional recruiting methods don't reach.

You bring:

• Proven experience in direct sourcing, headhunting, or specialized recruiting.
• Strong knowledge of the Houston talent market and business community.
• Experience identifying and engaging passive candidates for leadership, operational, or specialized roles.
• Confidence approaching professionals through direct calls, networking, and in-person conversations.
• An established professional network and the ability to expand it.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and follow-through.
• Independence, urgency, accountability, and a results-driven mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience recruiting management, Director-level, or executive talent.
• Background in executive search, direct placement, or specialized recruiting.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Work directly with our Head of Recruiting to identify and attract the talent that will help My Fit Foods continue growing throughout Houston.

You'll have ownership of targeted searches, the opportunity to build long-term professional relationships, and the ability to make a direct impact on our team.

Pay: $50.00 - $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20.0 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Houston, TX 77008
