We are a growing organization seeking a motivated, data-driven, and creative Performance Marketing Strategist to scale our customer acquisition and digital growth. The Performance Marketing Strategist will serve as our in-house expert on paid media, designing and executing multi-channel strategies across search, digital, and regional publications. This role works cross-functionally to align paid campaigns, manage budgets, track conversions, and continuously optimize campaigns against clear CPL and ROAS targets.
Job Summary
The Performance Marketing Strategist develops and executes the paid media strategy that drives qualified leads and revenue growth. As the in-house expert on Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, this role also supports regional publication marketing in both print and digital formats. The Strategist partners with the broader marketing team to align paid, social, and content efforts into a cohesive plan, recommends budget allocations, owns conversion tracking and attribution, leverages AI tools to accelerate testing, and reports directly against key revenue and efficiency benchmarks.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Campaign Management: Build, manage, and optimize high-performing Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising campaigns.
- Strategy & Planning: Develop holistic paid media strategies and channel mixes tailored to hit targeted lead and revenue goals; plan and place regional publication buys across print and digital editions.
- Cross-Channel Integration: Collaborate across marketing teams to unite paid, social, and content efforts; manage programmatic, retargeting, and email campaigns while supporting paid social tactics.
- Conversion & Creative Testing: Continuously A/B test ad copy, visual assets, and landing page experiences to maximize conversion rates.
- Analytics & Attribution: Own conversion tracking, GA4 setup, and CRM lead source accuracy to maintain reliable attribution.
- Budgeting & Reporting: Recommend strategic budget allocations and report regularly on CPL, ROAS, and overall revenue impact.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Paid Search Mastery: Expert-level command of Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, including keyword strategy, bid automation, and advanced audience targeting.
- Analytics & Tracking: Proficient with GA4, Google Tag Manager, and end-to-end conversion tracking setup.
- Tech & AI Adoption: Experience using AI tools to build, iterate, and test ad creative and copy at scale; proficient with Google Workspace/related software.
- Multi-Channel Familiarity: Knowledge of programmatic, retargeting, and email platforms; regional print/digital media buying experience is a plus.
- Core Competencies: Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and cross-team communication skills.
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of experience in a related field preferred; financial services industry experience and a proven record of scaling paid search performance while reducing CPL are strong pluses.
