Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental needs through positive interactions and behavior management techniques
- Help supervise children during activities such as playtime, mealtime, nap time, and outdoor recreation
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that promotes safety and learning
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care
- Assist with classroom routines including diapering, toileting, and infant/toddler care as needed
- Participate in ongoing training on topics like first aid, childhood development, and behavior management to enhance your skills
Skills
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and child development stages
- Experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings
- Knowledge of behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques
- Ability to provide nurturing care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers including diapering and feeding
- Familiarity with special education needs and working with individuals with disabilities
- Certification in first aid and CPR preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and children
