What You'll Do
As our Receptionist/Administrative Assistant, you'll be the welcoming face and voice of My Day Counts by:
- Greeting participants, visitors, and staff with warmth and professionalism
- Answering and directing incoming phone calls while providing outstanding customer service
- Maintaining participant and guest sign-in/sign-out records
- Performing data entry and general administrative duties
- Preparing weekly temporary staffing reports
- Assisting with scheduling conference rooms and supporting administrative calendars
- Filing, typing, uploading documents, and completing other clerical tasks
- Supporting the administrative team with special projects and daily operations
What We're Looking For
We're searching for someone who is:
- Friendly, professional, and customer-service focused
- An excellent communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Able to multitask and prioritize in a busy office environment
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Passionate about supporting adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong organizational, typing, and time management skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods
- Frequent walking and bending
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
Additional Requirements
- Successful completion of a background check
- Health screening required
