PURPOSE OF POSITION
The primary purpose of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Specialist is to oversee all operations of Allscripts. This specialist will be a liaison between the practice and Allscripts.
RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS
Support the mission of My Community Health Center (MCHC).

System Administrator:
- Maintain operations for all components of Allscripts: Electronic Health Record (EHR), Practice Management (PM), PayerPath (clearinghouse) and FollowMyHealth (patient portal)
- Liaison between MCHC and Allscripts
- Build and maintain provider templates, forms
- Grant Access to Allscripts
- Password Management
- Assist with information systems helpdesk tickets
- Triage connectivity issues: Allscripts vs. Aultman
- Project lead for upgrades, interfaces, databases, etc.
- Assist providers and staff with Allscripts issues
Allscripts Provider and Staff Training
- Develop training content
- Participate in on-boarding training
- Provide Allscripts updates as necessary
Optimization of Allscripts:
- Workflows
- Standardization of Processes
Reporting – Develops and Validates reports
- Quality
- Meaningful Use
- Uniform Data System
- Standard Operational Reports
Coordinate Meaningful Use
- Run reports
- Attestation
- Attestation Letters
- Audits
Coordinate Payer Audits
Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- Associates degree or higher–level education preferred
- Information technology and systems knowledge required
- Experience with Allscripts computer system preferred
- Strong Interpersonal Skills
- Adjust easily to changes in schedules and clinical staff
- Function independently, have flexibility to work with all levels of personnel; clinical, professional and clerical
- Professional conduct in a clinical office setting
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour
