Job Summary:
Under the direction of the CIO, the AVP of IT manages and maintains MCCU’s technology applications, systems, and infrastructure. This hands-on leadership role oversees IT operations, security, and assigned staff while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The AVP collaborates with internal teams and third-party partners to implement projects, resolve issues, and optimize processes. In this high-visibility position, strong communication and proactive problem-solving are essential to support business needs and drive IT and MCCU initiatives.

- Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in the credit union or financial services industry is highly desirable.
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree referred.
- Skills
- Strong knowledge of IT security, network and systems administration, hardware and software management, and ITSM.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Technical Skills
- Experience with AWS technologies
- Experience with Microsoft 365 tools, technologies, and platform
- Experience with Fortinet SDWAN, MFA, Conditional Access, Meraki, and Firewalls
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, etc.
- Experience with Genetec Administration, Halo ITSM Administration
- Experience with Huntress, Datto, Auvik, Ring Central, and SentinalOne
- Knowledge of Fortinet SDWAN and firewalls
- Prioritize and escalate outstanding issues and manage user expectations
- Effectively provide technical support within established KPI’s and SLA’s
- Manage patch management and security vulnerability maintenance
- Manage antivirus control software and security updates.
Salary : $96,356 - $113,360
