Express Maintenance Technician

My Auto Grand Rapids is looking to add Express Technicians to our team. This position is primarily responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks like changing oil, replacing oil filters, checking fluid levels, rotating tires, and inspecting for potential issues.

The ideal candidate has at least a year of vehicle maintenance experience, strong critical thinking skills, the ability time manage and keep a organized, safe work space, and the drive to to problem solve in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Draining the oil from a vehicle and replacing it to manufacturer specifications
• Topping off other fluids, including brake, power steering and windshield wiper fluid
• Inspecting the endive block and underbody for leaks and potential issues
• Checking tire pressure and filling tires with air as needed to manufacturer specifications
• Installing new car parts, such as air filters, oil filters, windshield wipers and batteries
• Communicating with the Express Advisor throughout the service appointment
• Ensuring a clean and safe work environment
