Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties across various areas including offices, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces with precision and attention to detail.
• Use specialized equipment such as buffing machines, floor scrubbers, and vacuum cleaners to maintain floors in excellent condition.
• Conduct routine custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold hygiene standards.
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs needed for fixtures, lighting, or flooring issues promptly.
• Assist with industrial cleaning projects when required, including cleaning large equipment or high-traffic areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by replenishing supplies and ensuring sanitation standards are met consistently.
• Support residential painting or minor maintenance tasks as needed to enhance facility appearance.
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to ensure a secure working environment.
• Keep detailed records of cleaning schedules, supplies used, and maintenance requests for accountability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures including buffing and stripping floors.
• Experience with commercial cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, and pressure washers.
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs or painting is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thorough cleaning routines.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
