What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Rec. Assoc I position at MW Components?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Verify and match job/P.O. to plater/broker material that comes in from UPS or carrier and send to quality if necessary.
- Bring parts that have been accepted from quality to the shipping area.
- When parts come back from quality or come in from the platers and do not require a quality check; look in Syteline for order due date to see if job/order is late or needs to be located in inventory for a future shipment.
- Pre-package parts in appropriate quantity if multiple releases.
- Read jobs for specific instructions for packaging requirements, special request, or process that needs to be completed before shipping.
- Package for any outside process and put paperwork in job tray to purchasing.
- Get all proper documentation to be sent with parts from quality or customer service.
- Print out pick list and follow any packaging request or special instructions from customer service.
- Package parts in the appropriate size box, label, and disposition to the correct area or location.
- Process paperwork accordingly and place with parts or in shipping tray.
- Keep a clean and organized work area.
- Other tasks as requested
