The IT Team Lead will be responsible for achieving business objectives through the oversight and coordination of day-to-day functions for specific functional areas within the IT department.
- Collaborate with other functional areas and departments to deliver services and solutions.
- Ensure priorities, commitments, and team member utilization achieve successful outcomes with professionalism and quality.
- Promote the growth and success of the functional area through continuous improvement, goal setting, and metric-driven results.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize McLeod TMS to support operational needs and ensure system stability and performance.
- Coordinate with McLeod support and internal stakeholders to diagnose issues, implement updates, and support system enhancements.
- Support integrations between McLeod TMS and other enterprise systems, ensuring accurate data flow and minimal downtime.
- Stay abreast of advancements in technologies, best practices, and standards within functional area.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and innovation.
- Coach and develop team members through positive encouragement, effective 1:1s, individual development plans, and performance management.
- For situations involving potential disciplinary action or team member compensation, provide input, documentation, and recommendations to IT leadership and HR for appropriate action.
- As needed, provide coverage and support outside of normal business hours based on criticality.
- Adhere to and promote organization and department policies.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Required).
- Extensive hands-on experience with McLeod TMS system implementation, integrations, support, and issue resolution.
- Ten or more (10 ) years of combined IT experience and leadership.
- Seven or more (7 ) years of experience within functional area, with a proven track record of delivering IT services and solutions. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with experience leading small to medium-sized teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A solid understanding of delivery practices, such as Agile and/or Lean.
- Commitment to staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
