Join the MVT family!!! Mesilla Valley Transportation is hiring a Data Entry Clerk to support our Driver Training/Mentoring department in El Paso, TX!
Job Summary
The Data Entry Clerk promptly and efficiently assists MVT drivers, answers incoming calls, answers general questions, and directs callers to appropriate personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides effective customer service to drivers.
• Monitors daily and send out weekly guarantee pay for all drivers in training OTR/ Visa Drivers/ Exp and drivers in local training.
• Monitors all trainee hires, who completed training and running as 2nd seat or solo and send out pay upgrades for 6 month, 1 and 2 years.
• Send out orientation pay once drivers meet 30K and 60K miles.
• Send an updated monthly report to Mr. Reyes on new trainee hires – for MPG qualifications.
• Maintains, prepares, and distributes any necessary paperwork the drivers that will need for training packets/ file completed files.
• Run daily/week reports on drivers’ miles (30K and 60K miles).
• Assists in scheduling and sending out trainees for 30/60k evaluation road tests -sends out Employers Authorization for exam form.
• Assist in updating driver service award information. –
• Assist with Million Miles Jackets and Rings -assuring drivers pick up and registering information.
• Visa daily local logs and assure they are signed dated -and filed.
• File all completed driver training paperwork once trainee’s/Visa drivers have completed with training. Z1 Driver original files are kept in Laredo, we receive copies.

Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Related experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
• Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite or related software.

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, or listen.
• The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; lift overhead; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• This position requires frequent manual dexterity in combination with eye/hand coordination such as keyboarding.
• Will have repetitive hand motions and prolonged periods of sitting.
• Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
