We are seeking a motivated and responsible Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles such as dump and semi trucks and trailers in accordance with traffic laws and vehicle codes
- Follow all traffic laws and emergency response procedures for transportation to ensure safety at all times
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Respond quickly to traffic changes or road hazards with defensive driving techniques to maintain schedule integrity
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members using clear language in English or bilingual communication skills
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), CLass A and Tanker Endorsement Preferred.
- Proven experience in commercial driving preferred, but will train if needed.
- Knowledge of traffic laws, vehicle codes, emergency stop procedures, and defensive driving techniques
- Familiarity with emergency response procedures related to transportation incidents including CPR and first aid certification is a plus
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse communities
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to respond quickly to traffic changes while maintaining safety and professionalism.
