About the Role
We are accelerating our footprint in the Australian market. With a newly established, tight-knit local team (under 5 members), we are looking for a highly energetic, ambitious, and hands-on Business Development Director / Senior Sales Manager to drive our commercial expansion in Sydney.
This is not a traditional, "management from a distance" corporate role. This is a builder’s mandate. We are seeking a hungry, high-velocity sales professional who thrives in a gritty, high-growth environment and is eager to rapidly accelerate their career trajectory. You do not need to come in knowing how to run every function of a cloud business—you just need the fundamental commercial firepower, the hustle to close deals, and the drive to quickly learn the rest.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Execution: Lead frontline business development, hunt new enterprise logos, and aggressively build the regional sales pipeline.
Hands-On Hustle: Operate deep in the trenches to qualify, structure, and close deals. You will be directly involved in the day-to-day business rather than delegating from afar.
Rapid Skill Expansion: Step outside traditional sales boundaries to learn and gradually take ownership of broader operational functions, including overseeing pre-sales collaboration, project delivery alignment, and regional P&L considerations.
Market Calibration: Work closely with regional leadership (Philippines and Hong Kong) to provide on-the-ground market intelligence, adapt sales strategies, and help calibrate the exact go-to-market fit in Australia.

Commercial DNA: You possess a rigorous sales foundation and a highly commercial mindset, with a proven track record of hunting and closing B2B technology deals.

Agile Learner: You do not wait for a perfect playbook. You take extreme ownership, learn quickly, and proactively step up to handle challenges beyond your immediate job scope.
Cloud Ecosystem (Strong Advantage): While not strictly mandatory, existing relationships, networks, or sales exposure within the AWS ecosystem will be considered a massive advantage.
What We Are NOT Looking For
We do not require candidates who have already managed end-to-end P&L, large engineering teams, or massive delivery operations. We want the raw talent, hunger, and foundational sales capability to grow into those responsibilities.
We are not looking for highly senior, purely strategic executives who prefer delegating to large teams. We need a frontline executioner.
