We are seeking a motivated and experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee commercial electrical projects from award through closeout. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining quality, schedule, and budget expectations.
What You'll Do
- Manage commercial electrical construction projects from contract award through project closeout.
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously at various stages of completion.
- Review and interpret architectural, mechanical, and electrical plans and specifications.
- Manage projects ranging from small service work to approximately $6 million in value.
- Prepare and manage RFIs, change orders, project documentation, and detailed reports.
- Coordinate and submit submittals and project documentation.
- Review contracts to ensure scope accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
- Prepare monthly billings, schedules of values (SOVs), and cost tracking reports.
- Evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals and negotiate purchase orders and agreements.
- Collaborate closely with General Contractors, field leadership, and project stakeholders.
- Conduct site visits, safety evaluations, and quality inspections.
- Provide technical guidance and support to field personnel.
- Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions.
- Ensure installations comply with project specifications, NEC requirements, and company quality standards.
- Foster positive working relationships built on professionalism, trust, and accountability.
Qualifications
- Electrical Project Management experience required.
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical construction methods, materials, and installations.
- Demonstrated success managing projects on schedule and within budget.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, contracts, and construction documents.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and project controls.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with Accubid Estimating software preferred.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $95,000 - $140,000 annually, depending on experience
