Animal Care Attendant

Mutterly Love, established in 2009 in St. Joseph, Michigan, is a year-round boarding, daycare, grooming, and training facility. Our staff manages playroom behavior, feeding, medications, cleaning, and identification of cages and pets to maintain high standards.

Duties:

· Provides general care, exercise, and supervision for multiple animals.

· Monitors animal health and reports concerns.

· Delivers food and water according to schedules and dietary needs.

· Cleans and disinfects kennels and equipment per procedures.

· Handles general facility cleaning, laundry, and bowl sterilization.

· Oversees dog playgroups and addresses behavioral issues.

· Ensures accurate identification of cages and pets.

· Interacts effectively with coworkers, volunteers, and others.

· Assists with animal admissions and discharges.

Requirements:

· Minimum age 18 years.

· Genuine interest in working with animals.

· Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

· Capable of frequent bending, standing, stooping, and walking during shifts.

· Willingness to work in all weather conditions.

· Driver's license and personal vehicle required.

· Available most weekends and holidays.

· Able to manage physical and emotional stress in a busy, noisy environment.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.50 per hour
