Mutares actively supports its portfolio companies with its own investment and operations teams and through strategic add-on acquisitions. - Manage the restructuring and improvement processes for our portfolio companies on-site to implement and improve sound cash management processes on-site
- Partner closely with the Mutares restructuring team by conducting financial analyses, developing and integrating financial models, and critically evaluating business cases
- Prepare and execute financing solutions (factoring, asset-based funding, credit lines)
- Improve financial statement closing and other finance/controlling processes and assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit
- Manage the relationship with external stakeholders (auditors, financial advisers, banks, credit insurers, etc.)
- Successfully completed a Finance degree or similar with outstanding results
- At least 6 years of experience in a Big4/Management Consulting firm (preferably restructuring focused) or Controlling/Finance department of an industry firm (preferably with exposure to restructuring situation)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with an entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Business fluency in English, with the ability to communicate in a well-structured and concise manner
- Willingness to travel up to 4 days per week (typically Monday – Thursday) and to work in an international environment
