🤝 What You’ll Do as a Parts Counter Sales Representative:
As a Level 2 Counter Representative, you’ll take the lead in providing advanced parts support—serving as the go-to resource for customers and internal teams. You’ll use your experience and technical knowledge to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional service.
Responsibilities include:
- Engage customers at the counter, over the phone, and by email to provide expert-level parts support
- Identify, quote, and sell the correct parts based on customer needs, equipment models, or technical specifications
- Proactively suggest related products and upsell opportunities to maximize sales potential
- Check pricing, availability, lead times, and shipping options in real time
- Process orders accurately and ensure timely fulfillment
- Partner with other internal departments to meet and exceed customer expectations
- Assist in training or mentoring new team members as needed
- Maintain a professional, organized, and safe workspace
📋 What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of experience in parts sales, automotive, heavy equipment, or a related field
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of equipment or machinery
- Customer-focused with a sales-first mindset and professional communication skills
- Comfortable using parts look-up systems, inventory software, and modern business applications
- Self-motivated, reliable, and efficient in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
✅ Additional Helpful Skills:
- Experience using CAT systems or similar parts platforms
- Background in heavy equipment, diesel, construction, or industrial parts sales
- Ability to support team members and lead by example in customer interactions
