Musly is the private members’ club for exciting Muslims, worldwide - bringing together founders, creatives, operators, investors, and game-changers through intimate gatherings and a global community.
We are hiring a Global Event Operations Manager to build, manage, and run the operational engine behind Musly’s events across all cities. This is a senior execution role for someone who is highly organized, experienced in hospitality events, and thrives owning complex logistics across multiple regions.
This person will manage city specific contractors, vendors, and more at the start and will own the system, coordinating with city-level contractors, vendors, and venues to ensure Musly’s events run with precision and excellence.
- Build and manage a monthly, quarterly, and annual events calendar across London, NYC, Dubai, and additional cities as we expand to.
- Set event cadence per city based on membership size, demand, and growth stage.
- Plan formats and flow: dinners, gatherings, intimate circles, more event experiments.
- Create, refine, and maintain Musly’s events operating system:
- SOPs
- Templates
- Budgets
- Checklist
- Seating systems
- Run-of-show documents
- Vendor management workflows
- Use tools like Airtable, Notion, and Google Workspace & more to track progress and ensure consistency.
- Work closely with each city’s Events Contractor to ensure:
- Deadlines are met
- Proposals are accurate
- Venues fit brand standards
- Guest-flow is clear
- Tables, seating, and run sheets are correct
- Provide weekly check-ins, feedback, and operational guidance.
- Research and confirm premium venues that align with Musly’s aesthetic.
- Negotiate pricing, packages, and expectations.
- Build and maintain a global database of approved venues and vendors.
- Ensure every gathering feels elevated, intimate, and intentional.
- Review and approve:
- Event proposals
- Menus and F&B structure
- Seating maps
- Check-in workflows
- Lighting, ambiance, and flow
- Event non-negotiables from vendors to contracts to videographers
- Guarantee the Musly experience is consistent across cities.
- Create a post-event feedback overview to present to the team.
- Work with videographer contractors to make sure they align with expectations.
- Work with Marketing to ensure content capture is aligned with brand needs.
- Coordinate with Membership to ensure events match member demand.
- Partner with Product as we refine the Events module inside the Musly app.
- Track attendance, turnout, NPS, and budget data across all cities.
- Provide monthly operational updates:
- What’s working
- What needs to be improved
- City-by-city insights
- Recommendations on scaling events efficiently
- 3-8 years in events, hospitality operations, or high-end experience production.
- Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and operationally strong.
- Understands luxury, ambiance, and hospitality fundamentals.
- Has a creative side along with an operational side - has expertise in both.
- Calm (especially under pressure), proactive, and solution-focused.
- Able to hold contractors accountable without conflict.
- Strong communicator who thrives in fast-paced environments.
- Comfortable working across time zones and juggling multiple cities.
- Obsessed with delivering elevated and intentional experiences.
- Full-time, flexible schedule - preferred to be located in the U.S. but it is not a non-negotiable if you’re really great!
