What are the responsibilities and job description for the Board-Certified Music Therapist position at Music Speaks, LLC?
Location - Minneapolis, MN and surrounding areas.
Music Speaks works to balance the needs of under-served rural clients with fair driving distances for our therapists.
Populations - This position will work primarily in 1:1 settings within client homes. Clients primarily include children with ID/DD diagnoses. Additional work with clients with mental health diagnoses and/or substance abuse.
Hours/Benefits - This is a full-time, salaried position; Music Speaks defines full-time as a 40 hour work week including an average of 20-23 sessions per week and office time, with opportunity for flexibility in the schedule.
- Access to a 47 credit CMTE focused on the therapeutic process and functionality of music element manipulation, as well as other free CMTEs and training opportunities
- Work with a caseload under an established company, with a flexible schedule

Job Requirements -
- Must have Board Certification (MT-BC) from the Certification Board of Music Therapy (CBMT) before working in the field.
