Position Type: Performance-Based Sales Leadership
Location: Remote with Required Travel
Travel Requirement: 60% (including in-person office meetings)
Reports To: Director of Sales Execution & Operations
Direct Reports (Year 1): None
Direct Reports (Year 2): Sales Team (Performance-Based Approval)
Position Overview
The Sales Manager is responsible for direct revenue generation, pipeline management, and deal execution within their assigned division (EvoEvents, EvoEducates, or EvoSuite). During the first year, this role operates as a full-cycle individual contributor, owning sales from prospecting through close. In the second year, based on performance, the Sales Manager may be eligible to build and manage a sales team.
This is a results-driven, performance-based role designed for sales professionals who thrive in high-accountability environments with uncapped earning potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Execution
- Personally close revenue-generating deals within the assigned division
- Manage the full sales cycle, including outreach, discovery, proposals, and closing
- Maintain an active, accurate sales pipeline
- Meet or exceed assigned monthly and quarterly revenue targets
Pipeline & Reporting
- Track all sales activity, deals, and revenue in the company CRM
- Provide weekly pipeline and revenue reports to the Director of Sales Execution & Operations
- Maintain consistent follow-up and deal pacing
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with Marketing, Events, and Operations teams to support campaigns, launches, and activations
- Represent the company and division professionally in all client-facing interactions
In-Person & Travel Responsibilities
- Attend in-person office meetings, leadership meetings, and planning sessions as required
- Travel for events, activations, client meetings, and sales initiatives
- Maintain availability for evening and weekend work during live events and launches
Compensation Structure:
(Performance-Based | Uncapped)
Draw:
- $2,000 monthly draw
- Draw activates only after personally closing $5,000 in collected revenue
- Draw is recoverable and offset against earned commissions
- Draw eligibility reviewed monthly
Commissions:
- 25% commission on all personally closed and collected revenue
- Applies to revenue generated within the assigned division

Monthly Revenue Bonuses
$10,000 Collected: $500 Bonus
$20,000 Collected: $1,250 Bonus
$35,000 Collected: $2,500 Bonus
Quarterly Division Revenue Bonuses
$25,000 Collected: $1,000 Bonus
$50,000 Collected: $2,500 Bonus
$100,000 Collected: $5,000 Bonus
Quarterly Consistency Bonus
- $1,000 bonus for achieving monthly revenue targets for three consecutive months
Expected Earnings (Illustrative)
- Entry Performance: $60,000–$75,000 annually
- Strong Performer: $90,000–$120,000 annually
- Top Performer: $140,000 annually
Actual earnings depend on individual performance and collected revenue.
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of sales experience (B2B, high-ticket, SaaS, education, or services preferred)
- Proven ability to close deals independently
- Strong organizational and follow-up discipline
- Comfortable in performance-based compensation structures
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 60%, including in-person office requirements
Advancement Opportunity
Sales Managers who demonstrate consistent performance in Year 1 may be eligible in Year 2 to:
- Build and manage a sales team
- Earn override commissions on team performance
