About the Role
The Ebonizer, a recording artist, entertainer, and entrepreneur, is seeking an experienced Music Manager to oversee all aspects of career management, business operations, and industry relations.
The right candidate will have strong relationships across the entertainment industry and proven success managing or advancing recording artists.
You’ll play a key role in developing strategy, negotiating deals, and coordinating opportunities as The Ebonizer prepares for national tours, new music releases, and brand collaborations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily business operations, bookings, and overall career strategy.
- Develop and execute short- and long-term career-growth plans.
- Secure and negotiate live performance, sponsorship, and brand-partnership opportunities.
- Maintain and expand relationships with labels, promoters, venues, and media contacts.
- Coordinate tour logistics, schedules, and representation activities.
- Collaborate with marketing, PR, and event teams on promotions and appearances.
- Travel frequently for shows, meetings, and media engagements.
Qualifications
- Must reside in Atlanta, GA.
- Must be able to travel extensively (domestic and international).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the music or entertainment industry.
- Established network of industry contacts (labels, promoters, venues, media, etc.).
- Demonstrated success managing or developing recording artists.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Professional, reliable, and results-driven.
Compensation & Bonuses
- Base Pay: $500 per month retainer.
- Commission: 10% of net artist revenue (tours, shows, sponsorships, royalties, etc.).
- Performance Bonuses:
- $250 bonus for every $10,000 in new performance or sponsorship revenue.
- $500 bonus for each sold-out show or major brand collaboration.
- $1,000 annual bonus when annual net revenue exceeds $100,000.
- Travel, lodging, and per diem covered for approved tour and event travel.
