Facilities Logistics Assistant II (Regular, Full-Time)
Facility Services
Reporting to the Facilities Logistics Supervisor the Facilities Logistics Assistant II manages inventory of all items stored in the on-site and off-site storage facilities in addition to coordinating logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer service activities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates loading dock operations, including access requests, shipping and receiving.
- Ensures that the Logistics Master Schedule is duly respected, accurate and compliant with loading dock scheduling procedures.
- Reviews and approves special event, public, and education program space bookings to confirm availability and assigns work orders based on the Department responsibility matrix. Contacts requestors to solve conflicts and propose solutions.
- Reviews facilities work orders and coordinates resources to address each work order. May follow-up with requestor, and close work order once work is completed.
- Coordinates deliveries and shipping to the off-site non-art storage facilities
- Coordinates waste management with the Museum’s vendors
- Performs work requested by customers and assigned through the work orders system, including Special Events set-ups, and guarantees that the work is complete on time and meets the Customer’s expectation and/or logistic services quality standards
- Performs other duties or special projects as assigned
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance

- The expected hourly rate for this Los Angeles, CA based position is $20.00 - $22.00, subject to change, and the position is eligible for LACMA’s comprehensive benefits package, including pension plan.

Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years of experience working in a similar environment
- Advanced computer skills, use of CMMS and scheduling software
- Valid class C California driver’s license, forklift certification, and scissor lift certification are required
