Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Supervisor for our Outpatient Therapy Practice to lead and oversee mental health and behavioral health services. Duties
- Provide supervision and mentorship to pre-licensed clinicians and support staff, fostering professional development and clinical excellence.
- Oversee intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for diverse patient populations, including children, adolescents, and adults.
- Deliver individual, group, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT),DBT, Somatic, and motivational interviewing.
- Manage crisis intervention and crisis management procedures to ensure patient safety and effective response to urgent situations.
- Coordinate home and community care services, ensuring seamless integration of outpatient therapy with other support systems.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including medical records and progress notes using appropriate CPT coding and ICD coding standards (ICD-9/10).
- Conduct behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations for patients with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
- Facilitate case management activities to support treatment adherence and community integration.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives related to behavioral health, PTSD care, or other specialized areas.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, including HIPAA privacy standards and documentation requirements.
Requirements
- LICSW or LMHC
- Master’s degree or higher in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field; licensure as required by state regulations.
- Proven experience in outpatient mental health or behavioral health settings with children, adolescents, or individuals with disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health therapies such as CBT, DBT, Somatic, and child & family counseling.
- Skills in crisis intervention, crisis management, and trauma-informed care including PTSD care.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and healthcare documentation standards.
- Ability to conduct patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations effectively.
- Excellent case management skills with a focus on patient care coordination across home & community settings.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of patient information.
- Strong leadership abilities to supervise clinical staff while fostering a collaborative team environment.
