Essential Criteria
- College degree in Sports Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Business or a related field.
- 2-5 years of previous work experience preferred; an entry-level college graduate will be considered.
- Passion for selling and building trusting relationships with our customers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present in front of groups.
- Proven organizational and time-management skills, ability to manage the workload as it relates to customer visits, project deadlines and internal communications
- Work collaboratively with the internal Team to support customers
- Self-disciplined to work independently to achieve results
- Tenacious, able to persevere through sales challenges and setbacks
- Work collaboratively with Musco’s internal Sales Coordinator Team and external Field Sales Team to support customers
- Strong technical aptitude, ability to understand and present Musco products and services
- Innovative problem-solving with a team-oriented mindset
- Motivated to learn and develop
- Generate market information relevant to the assigned territory
- Qualify long-range projects exceeding 12 months via face-to-face customer meetings
- Effectively present and differentiate Musco's products and services to customers with projects timed to orders exceeding 12 months
- Conduct field market research examining the potential sales of new products and services
- Provide support to Sales Management to achieve short and long-term strategic goals
- Attend tradeshows and conferences, and support the internal Team with initiatives
- Ability and desire to travel 25-30%
