Construction Project Manager – Restaurant & Retail

Reston, VA | Hybrid | $115,000–$130,000 Company Vehicle

We are hiring an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee multiple restaurant and retail construction projects from planning through completion.

This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity for someone with a strong background in ground-up restaurant/retail construction, tenant build-outs, and open-door remodels.

Restaurant and retail construction experience is REQUIRED. Candidates without this specific background will not be considered.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage multiple restaurant and retail construction projects simultaneously
• Oversee schedules, budgets, resources, and project timelines
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, clients, and internal teams
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor safety, quality, and code compliance
• Review and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and site plans
• Track project costs and implement cost-control measures
• Identify scheduling risks and resolve issues before they impact deadlines
• Lead project meetings and keep all stakeholders aligned
• Manage projects from pre-construction through final completion

What We're Looking For

• 5 years of Project Management experience specifically in restaurant and retail construction
• Proven experience with ground-up construction AND tenant build-outs
• Experience with open-door remodels strongly preferred
• Strong construction scheduling and budgeting experience
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and architectural plans
• Strong contractor, vendor, and client management skills
• Proficiency with Procore, Primavera, Raken, or similar construction management software
• Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
• PMP certification is a plus, but not required
