Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position. The attorney will be responsible for participating in all aspects of business litigation, including: drafting and reviewing briefs and pleadings; analyzing complex legal issues; drafting and responding to written discovery; taking depositions; attending hearing; and preparing cases for trial. The attorney will be expected to provide legal support on a variety of litigation matters, and collaborate with attorneys and clients to develop case strategies. The role requires exceptional research, writing, and communication skills, as well as a thorough understanding of legal principles and procedures.
Qualifications
- Solid foundation in business litigation and the development of litigation strategies
- Prior experience managing cases
- Prior experience taking depositions and arguing motions
- Exceptional writing skills
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Active membership in the California State Bar
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- 6 years of litigation experience preferred
