This Sr Manager is accountable for enterprise architecture strategy, standards, and governance across all technology domains, ensuring alignment, integration, and long-term value across the enterprise. While the Sr Manager collaborates closely with leaders responsible for infrastructure, data, cybersecurity, governance, and service delivery, operational ownership remains within those respective functions.
This leader serves as a trusted advisor to business and technology executives, translating strategic priorities into scalable, secure, and cost-effective technology solutions while guiding application and platform modernization through architectural governance and standards. In addition, the Sr Manager leads and develops a high-performing team of architects and application professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
Enterprise Architecture, Standards & Technology Direction
- Define enterprise architecture vision, principles, governance, and multi-year roadmaps aligned to business priorities
- Guide portfolio rationalization and modernization through architectural standards, investment prioritization, and risk-based decision making
- Establish architecture principles that balance resilience, scalability, security, and cost optimization
- Provide architectural leadership across core technology domains, including cloud, infrastructure, identity and access, collaboration platforms, and enterprise integration
- Ensure alignment with industry best practices and relevant emerging technologies
- Partner with business leaders to translate strategic objectives into technology capabilities, investment priorities, and measurable outcomes
- Serve as a strategic advisor on initiatives, transformation efforts, and capital planning through an architectural lens
- Communicate technology trade-offs, risks, and return on investment to executive stakeholders
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing architecture and applications team
- Build a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and product-oriented thinking
- Drive cross-functional collaboration and influence distributed teams toward enterprise standards and goals
- Provide architectural leadership across key technology functions to ensure enterprise alignment, integration, and end-to-end solution integrity
- Collaborate with peer leaders across data, analytics, cybersecurity, governance, and end-user services while operational ownership remains within those functions
- Facilitate enterprise decisions and standards for initiatives that span multiple technology domains
- Incorporate operability, service reliability, and supportability into architecture standards through alignment with IT service management practices
- Define the strategic direction and architectural standards for enterprise applications and platforms
- Govern application lifecycle decisions, including rationalization, modernization, retirement, and adoption of modern application architectures
- Lead enterprise resource planning strategy and optimization, with strong preference for SAP S/4HANA experience
- Define enterprise patterns for data, integration, APIs, and automation that enable scalable, maintainable, and interoperable enterprise systems and services
- Define governance frameworks and decision models aligned to enterprise risk, security, and compliance requirements
- Partner with cybersecurity and governance teams to deliver secure-by-design, compliant architectures
- Establish and operationalize enterprise architecture governance and standards
- Deliver multi-year roadmaps aligned to business priorities
- Reduce architectural fragmentation and increase platform standardization
- Improve quality and consistency of cross-domain technology decisions
- Influence enterprise investment prioritization and measurable business outcomes
- TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification
- ITIL
- Agile / SAFe / DevOps / PMP
- Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS)
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 15 years of experience across enterprise IT (applications, infrastructure, cloud, data) with10 years in leadership roles managing and developing technology teams
- Proven ability to lead enterprise architecture or large-scale application environments
- Demonstrated success partnering with business leaders to deliver measurable outcomes
- Strong experience in enterprise architecture frameworks, governance, and roadmap development
- Cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP a plus)
- ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA strongly preferred)
- ServiceNow and ITSM frameworks
- Data platforms and analytics ecosystems
