The Role
We're looking for a Social Media Manager who lives and breathes content creation.
You'll be the powerhouse behind our social media presence across all platforms,
creating a minimum of 2 videos per day while managing our social media ecosystem.
You're someone who can move fast, create consistently, and turn product features into
viral moments. If you thrive in a high-output environment, understand what makes
content shareable across different platforms, and can juggle content creation with
community engagement and platform management, we want to meet you.
We have one of the most successful social media accounts in the interior products
space because of the incredible team that has bootstrapped it from near zero to 1.5M
followers. You will be taking the torch from some of the best and working alongside
them to keep the momentum as we advance to the next level.
Your Daily Adventures Will Include
• Creating a minimum of 2 videos per day for Murphy Door's social media
channels (this is your bread and butter)
• Managing all social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok,
YouTube, Pinterest, and LinkedIn
• Planning, shooting, editing, and publishing scroll-stopping content across
multiple platforms
• Collaborating with the Creative Director to align content with brand initiatives
• Engaging with our community, responding to comments, and fostering authentic
connections
• Monitoring trends and jumping on opportunities to create timely, relevant
content
• Tracking performance metrics and using data to optimize content strategy
• Managing the social media content calendar to ensure consistent posting
• Contributing to our ambitious social following growth goals
• Staying ahead of platform updates, features, and best practices
Must-Have Superpowers
• 2-4 years of experience creating content for brand social media accounts
• Proven ability to produce high volumes of quality content consistently
• Experience managing multiple social media platforms simultaneously
(Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn)
• A portfolio that shows you can turn everyday products into extraordinary stories
• Strong proficiency in video production, shooting, and editing
• Expert-level skills in CapCut and Adobe Creative Cloud
• Deep understanding of platform-specific best practices and algorithms
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workflow
• Excellence in time management and meeting daily content quotas
• A keen eye for trends and the ability to adapt them quickly to our brand
• Strong creative vision with the speed to execute it
Bonus Points If
• You have experience with real cameras and photo/video tools
• You've successfully grown social media accounts with measurable results
• You have experience in the home improvement or interior design space
• You're comfortable being on camera and creating on-screen content
• You have copywriting skills that make captions as engaging as the visuals
• You've created viral content or campaigns that gained significant traction
