Role Description
This is a contract role for a Business Brokerage Agent, paid via commissions only. The agent will assist clients in buying and selling businesses, conduct business valuations, and consult on mergers and acquisitions. Responsibilities include analyzing financials, developing sales strategies, engaging with clients, and providing expert guidance throughout the transaction process. The role also involves identifying potential buyers or sellers and maintaining confidentiality during all business negotiations.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills for conducting business valuations, reviewing financial statements, and analyzing market opportunities.
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with diverse clients, negotiate effectively, and maintain relationships.
- Sales experience with the ability to develop business sale strategies, close deals, and guide clients through complex transactions.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while adhering to deadlines and maintaining confidentiality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Prior experience in business brokerage, real estate, or mergers and acquisitions is a plus.
- Central New Jersey residents are preferred due to the local and in person nature of the business.
