Job Overview
This role is responsible for providing professional, customer-focused services related to the enrollment and identity verification process for Transportation Security Administration (TSA) programs, state and federal background checks, licensing, and other identity services.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Conduct identity verification by reviewing and validating appropriate documents (e.g., passports, driver’s licenses, permanent resident cards).
- Capture biometric data, including fingerprints, photographs, and signatures, using specialized enrollment equipment.
- Process enrollment transactions accurately, ensuring compliance with TSA, state, and federal requirements.
- Collect fees, issue receipts, and reconcile daily transactions in accordance with Idemia and partner policies.
- Protect the confidentiality and integrity of all customer information, adhering to strict security and privacy standards.
- Troubleshoot equipment and escalate technical issues to the appropriate support teams when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional enrollment center environment.
- Assist in scheduling, rescheduling, and answering customer inquiries regarding enrollment services.
- Complete daily reporting and operational checklists as required.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Prior customer service, retail, or administrative experience (1–2 years preferred).
- Experience handling cash, credit card transactions, or point-of-sale systems a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict compliance protocols.
- Comfortable working with computers, biometric equipment, and secure systems.
- Problem-solving skills and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
Other Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident.
- Must pass a TSA suitability and background check prior to employment.
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends or evenings if required.
Working Conditions
- Position is based in a secure enrollment center environment.
- Requires standing, sitting, and occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs.) during the workday.
- May involve travel for training or to support other enrollment centers.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly wage range: $15 – $20/hour (based on experience and location).
Job Type: Part-time
