As a Finish Shop Technician, you will inspect and prepare surfaces for finishing by sanding, cleaning, and repairing imperfections, ensuring a smooth and even base for the application of coatings.
Ideal candidates will be:
- Proficient in prepping cabinets and other wood products
- Knowledgeable of various finishing techniques
- Familiar with different types of finishing products including paints, stains, varnishes, and other coatings
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and working in various positions for extended periods of time
- Understanding of safety protocols and procedures when handling chemicals and finishing materials
