Leasing Specialist
As a Leasing Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting market studies, creating and implementing marketing plans, placing ads to generate traffic, securing appointments, and maximizing rentals. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in creating positive and memorable customer experiences, ensuring that our properties are market-ready, and performing all administrative duties related to securing leases and renewals. This position also involves providing high-quality customer service, managing service requests, and helping to create a quality living environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Convert leads into community tours by proactively following up with prospects and providing helpful, accurate, and compelling information about the community and surrounding neighborhood
- Conduct engaging, informative, and personalized tours that highlight the unique features and benefits of the community, ultimately leading to new leases
- Deliver an exceptional resident experience by building strong relationships and ensuring consistent, high-quality service
- Utilize social media and outreach strategies to generate awareness, interest, and excitement about the community
- Maintain strong product knowledge of apartment homes, pricing, availability, and local market trends
- Manage prospect interactions, appointments, and follow-ups through CRM systems to ensure no opportunity is missed
- Collaborate with the team to meet and exceed occupancy and leasing goals
- Maintain a professional and welcoming environment in the leasing office and community
Qualifications: Here’s what you’ll need to thrive in this role!
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience in sales or customer service-related positions. Prior property management experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Yardi proficiency preferred.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
- Strong passion for leasing apartments in a customer service-focused environment.
- Core Competencies: strong interpersonal skills, leadership excellence, effective communication, proactive problem-solving, and self-management.
- High school or equivalent education required.
- For Leasing Consultants assigned to more than one property location, daily travel between the properties is required. Travel is also required for company training events and special project events.

Schedule Expectations:
- Availability to work weekends (three weekends per month) when prospective residents are actively searching for their new home
- Two days off during the week to support work-life balance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
