Inventory Manager

Mercedes-Benz of Foothill Ranch and Mercedes-Benz of Laguna Niguel, part of the Murgado Automotive Group, are seeking a highly organized, performance-driven Inventory Manager to oversee inventory operations across two of the highest-volume Mercedes-Benz dealerships in Orange County. This is a critical leadership role responsible for the accuracy, flow, and optimization of new and pre-owned vehicle inventory to support aggressive sales targets, maximize turn, and ensure operational excellence.Key Responsibilities• Manage and maintain accurate inventory for both rooftops in the DMS and all digital platforms • Oversee vehicle in-stock, transit, and incoming inventory from port to dealership • Coordinate all dealer trades, vehicle transfers, and inter-store logistics • Monitor aging inventory and work closely with sales management on pricing and exit strategies • Ensure all vehicles are properly merchandised, photographed, and available online in a timely manner • Maintain accurate floorplan records and assist with audits and reconciliations • Track CPO pipeline and ensure units are processed efficiently and frontline-ready • Partner with Sales, Finance, and Service departments to support production and delivery goals • Control inventory turn, days’ supply, and overall inventory health • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for executive leadership • Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and group policiesQualifications • Previous automotive inventory management experience (Mercedes-Benz or luxury brand preferred) • Strong knowledge of DMS systems and inventory management tools • High attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities • Proven track record of managing large and complex inventoriesWhat We Offer • Compensation starting at $80,000 per year, based on experience • Opportunity to oversee inventory for two flagship Mercedes-Benz stores • Growth within a fast-growing, performance-driven dealer group • Health, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits • Paid vacation and holidaysSalary based on experience and performance.
